I heard stories about beautiful girls,
Who made their presence known.
They're loud and proud, they speak their minds.
But what about others, the quiet and shy?
Their mute is mistaken for rudeness and hatred.
They evade curious eyes.
They're seen but not heard, they speak not a word.
All their thoughts are hidden inside.
They're crying out, you know.
Not with speech, but pleading silence.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis piece really speaks the truth about the nature of relationships and what ultimately defines each faction of personal relationships. There are any facets to friendship and individuals are capable of being all of the facets, some of them, or just a single one.
An interesting part of this piece is the distinction of close friends and best friends. Personally, I view the statements for what they signify as being backwards but I am genuinely interested in hearing the authors explanation for "Best Friends Like Me..." and "Close Friends Love Me..." in that context and order. Ultimately though, I feel it is a matter of splitting hairs and at the end of the day, its a sweet message.
